The church gathered on Sunday, August 30, 2015 – the celebration of the feast day of St. Augustine of Hippo – to receive new members into the body of the church and to commemorate the founding of St. Augustine’s Anglican.
With open arms, we welcomed the Matsudas and the Phillipses to grow in the faith and to serve in the Kingdom. During the service, we sang two hymns containing the prayers of our patron saint. The recessional music was written by Dr. Timothy Dickey, a parishioner, for our dedication Sunday.
St. Augustine’s began as a house church in May of 2011. This small and mighty congregation now worships at the Ellsworth Chapel at Central College in Westerville. With a growing children’s program and a focus on discipleship in God’s Kingdom, you may find that St. Augustine’s Anglican is a good match for you. Come and visit on Sundays at 10:00, where we believe we are changed by God to make a difference for God.
For a sense of our fellowship with St. Augustine of Hippo our patron and all your saints, Lord, receive our thanks and prayer.
