St. Augustine’s Anglican Church began in May, 2011 as a house church in Westerville. We now meet on the campus of Central College Presbyterian Church in the Ellsworth Chapel. In this place, we worship God in the way of the early Christians, and we grow in our faith and service. We seek to show our love and dedication to Him through our mission statement: Changed by God to Make a Difference for God.
St. Augustine’s is a member of the Anglican Church in North America . We began in the Anglican Diocese of the Great Lakes and joined CANA East (now named the Diocese of the Living Word) in March of 2019. We have been recognized by Anglican 1000 as one of 150 new Anglican church plants in the United States and Canada.
At St. Augustine’s, you’ll find folks who have been Christians their entire lives, seeking a closer walk with Jesus. You’ll also find those new to the faith, just beginning their spiritual journey with Him.
The blessing we all have experienced in being a part of this family means that we have a responsibility to tell others about our changed lives through Christ. Showing Christ’s love through missions in the community is the heart of St. Augustine’s. Do you have talents to praise the Lord in worship? Do you have a special gift with children? Do you have a heart to serve the distressed in the community? Are you looking for a “home”? If you want to plant and grow as a disciple of Christ, we invite you to see if this young and growing church is the place for you.
