As a priest, and the rector of St. Augustine’s, Fr. Kevin Maney helps members of the congregation to identify our gifts and to use them in ministries for the Kingdom of God. In his sermons, Fr. Kevin seeks to make God’s Word in Scripture relevant to the challenges in our lives today. You can find a copy of sermons and meditations on his blog, The Anglican Priest.

Fr. Kevin has a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from the University of Toledo, and he taught at the high school and college level for over 30 years. He completed his studies for a Diploma in Anglican Studies at Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, PA, and did his coursework almost entirely online. He was ordained as a transitional deacon in the Convocation of Anglicans in North America (CANA) on February 9, 2008 and as a priest in CANA on May 1, 2008. He began as the priest for the new parish plant, St. Augustine’s Anglican Church in Columbus, OH, part of the Anglican Diocese of the Great Lakes and the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA). He continues as the rector of the parish, which affiliated with the diocese of The Anglican Diocese of the Living Word (ACNA) on March 1, 2019.
Fr. Kevin is married to Dondra, an Ashland University supervisor who serves as the Director of Communication and Music at St. Augustine’s. Fr. Kevin’s son lives in San Francisco, CA, and his daughter lives in Denver, CO.
One of Fr. Kevin’s gifts is teaching; he has a wry sense of humor; and he loves the Lord and pastoring His people. Come meet Fr. Kevin this Sunday at St. Augustine’s Anglican.

Associate priest Fr. Jonathon Wylie joined the St. Augustine’s community in the fall of 2018 when he and his wife (Meghan) moved to Columbus so that Meghan could attend graduate school at OSU. When Meghan graduated in 2019, they moved to Huntington, WV, where Fr. Jonathon serves as a high school Humanities and Bible teacher in a classical Christian school and where Meghan works as a speech-language pathologist. The three-hour drive between Huntington and Westerville is hardly enough to prevail against Fr. Jonathon’s affection for St. Augustine’s and the Anglican Diocese of the Living Word, and so he continues to travel to Westerville about once per month to preach, celebrate the Eucharist, and visit this cherished flock. In West Virginia, Fr. Jonathon also serves as an assisting priest at Hope Anglican Church in Charleston, WV.
Fr. Jonathon has a B.A. in Ancient Languages and Biblical Archaeology from Wheaton College and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible/Old Testament from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He was ordained a deacon in May 2019 and a priest in September 2020. He enjoys preaching and teaching, and he desires to serve the Church as both a pastor and scholar. In his spare time, he loves to read old books, conduct research on the Bible, write, run, bake (and eat!) anything sourdough, and (most of all) spend time with his beloved wife and their baby daughter, Lydia Shalom.
