St Augustine Church will begin Holy Week by sharing a seder meal on Palm Sunday with our neighbor church, Chapel on the Vine, and Victory Point Fellowship. Fr. Ron Feister will lead this meal, designed to recount the history of God’s people, specifically, the Exodus from Egypt. We will continue throughout the week to recount the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday, when Jesus asks us to remember him as we gather to break bread. Good Friday will continue the idea with the Stations of the Cross, focusing on the suffering and death of Jesus. Even Holy Saturday is a celebration of recounting God’s action in the life of the church.
Starting at 12:00 noon, we will share a covered dish meal first, and then celebrate the seder.
