Three churches gathered at 9:00am Saturday, April 5, 2014 for a community food drive for the Westerville Area Resource Ministry (W.A.R.M.). Members of St. Augustine’s, Chapel on the Vine, and Victory Point Fellowship stapled leaflets to Trader Joe bags and then headed out to neighborhoods along Sunbury Road for bag delivery. Tim Horton’s donuts and coffee coaxed the grumpiest of the bunch to smile so early on a cold spring day, and by the time we completed the deliver of 600 bags, all were full of joy in doing this Lord’s work to help others. The group gathered at Jimmy V’s in Uptown Westerville for lunch afterward and made plans for food pick-up tomorrow after church. This day we count our blessings for the good health to support this food drive, and for the Christian friends who share their love for the Lord and one another. Do you have a church? Come visit on Sunday and meet some really inspiring and loving Christian men and women changed by God to make a difference for God.
